Company ProfileFine Line Business Services was founded in 1994 by Scott Jacobs. Wanting to combine his computer expertise from 26 years with General Motors and EDS with his desire to work with small to medium businesses, Scott began offering business consulting, computer and network installation and repairs to the SMB market. Fine Line Business Services is able to combine personalized attention with years of experience working with Fortune 500 clients to offer SMB solutions in many areas of Information Technology. Scott is a member of APA - American Planning Association and MAP - Michigan Association of Planning. He is currently working on his PMP (Project management Professional) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certifications. Much of his work has involved all phases of major projects for client companies, from initial planning, design, development, testing and through final implementation. He has led teams through the design development and testing of new applications and designed and delivered training for a wide variety of applications and user communities. Having worked for years with the unique requirements of ANX (Automotive Network Exchange), Scott has become very familiar with computer security, network security and now the security environment of wireless or Wi-Fi networks. Scott has instructed systems engineers in assembler code in a classroom environment and introduced CEO's for their first times to PC's and office productivity tools. He has worked one-on-one at all levels of organizations from the Big-Three auto manufacturers in Detroit to Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Bethlehem Steel in Indiana to Reader's Digest in New York and Ryder Dedicated Logistics in Miami to a SOHO location in Michigan supporting View Video in New York City. He enjoys working at all levels of organizations, from the board room to the shipping room, and is comfortable speaking to hundreds or coaching on a one-to-one basis.

Fine Line Business Services provides business process consulting and
computer consulting. We specialize in addressing security and
business continuity requirements, but also have extensive experience with
helping with system upgrades, including personalized training with
individuals or small groups. Please take a look at some of the areas
we have developed solutions for. We are able to work off-site at our
facility in Troy, Michigan, or at your site.
